GENERAL REVIEW: Cashmere Mafia is not an exact copycat of other TV show hits like Sex and the City and Desperate Housewives. However, it suffered from such comparisons. And, unfortunately, it didn’t last very long as it was cancelled just after one season (7 episodes).

They know it’s not going to be easy. The modelling world has always preferred taller girls. But, ANTM decided to shake things up a bit to give “mini models” a go.

Except – there’s hardly any real petites in the group. There’s only Courtney Davies, 5’4, a 22-year-old cheerleader and Sundai Love, 5’3, age 18. The rest are just ‘shorter’ versions of models.

It will be interesting to see what kind of spin ANTM will have for this group and who will do the best.

A lot of cynics think that this is not really a ‘realistic’ expectation – especially for shorter models to become working models, let alone, top models. They don’t stand a chance getting enough bookings in the “real world” – especially without ANTM cameras following them around.

So, let’s see, shall we?
